Recycling Began August 30!!!
We recycle aluminum cans and newspapers ONLY. Recycling days are MONDAYS, TUESDAYS, AND WEDNESDAYS ONLY. This is a class competition!!! The class with the most recycled items gets a reward at the end of the year!!!!
We are also collecting pull-tabs off aluminum cans. These are for the Ronald McDonald House and are NOT part of the recycling competition.
Silly Band Alert!!!
From Mrs. Young:
I realize that Silly Bands are a fun, new fad. Many children are becoming distracted by them at school. I am asking children to NOT wear them to school on a daily basis. We may have a special Silly Band Day now and then as a celebration of academic success. If a teacher sees a child with Silly Bands, I have asked them to please collect them and place them in a ziplock bag with the child’s name until the end of the semester.
Thank You for your Support!
